The name Dirty Monkeys Mobile Polishing holds a special place in our hearts. It was founded by Terry O'Neill, who taught me the trade 29 years ago. He always used to say, "I taught you something, now you will never go hungry." Years later, after moving to Alberta and starting to polish on my own, I invited Terry to join me. He proudly watched as I applied his teachings. He would call us "Dirty Monkeys" because of how hard and diligently we worked, often getting so dirty that no one would recognize us.
A Tribute To A Mentor
The business was originally called Jeremy & Sons, but after my good friend and mentor, Terry, passed away, my son and I decided to honour his memory. We changed the name to Dirty Monkeys Mobile Polishing, just as Terry had always wanted. This name is a testament to the man who taught us how to "fish," ensuring we would always have a skill to rely on. It embodies the hard work, dedication, and passion he instilled in us for metal polishing.
